Elizabeth Spires to Judge 2017 Snyder Prize

The Ashland Poetry Press is very pleased to announce Elizabeth Spires will be our 2017 final judge for the Snyder Prize. 

Spires is the author of six collections of poetry, including Worldling, Now the Green Blade Rises, and The Wave-Maker.  Her poems have appeared in The Atlantic, Poetry, American Poetry Review, and other literary journals. She lives in Baltimore and is a professor of English at Goucher College.

The Ashland Poetry Press will publish the winning manuscript and award the author $1,000 in prize money and 50 copies of the published book. Reading fee is $27 for electronic submissions and $25 for hard copy. Please refer to our complete submission guidelines before entering.
