The mission of the Ashland Poetry Press is to help top-rate poets in mid-career break through to first or second book publication, and to help mature poets define the best accomplishments of their writing careers through the publication of volumes of selected works.

Snyder Prize Now Accepting Entries

The submissions period is now underway for the 2015 Richard Snyder Memorial Publication Prize.  We are honored to have David St. John as our final judge this year.The Ashland Poetry Press will publish the winning manuscript and award the author $1,000 in prize money, 50 copies of the published book, and the option of reading at Ashland University. Manuscripts should consist of 64-96 pages of original poems with no more than one poem per page.
